Book Grading

Books are graded as detailed below: If you have any specific questions please contact us, further photographs can be provided if required.

FINE: The book appears to be in excellent condition. Closer examination, however, will show evidence of ownership or storage, but generally the book is in near perfect condition. DUST JACKET: Clean with excellent colouring, but with very slight rubbing to the corners.

VERY GOOD: Slightly less than fine condition. Apart from fading or slight foxing, the book has no faults. DUST JACKET: clean with excellent colouring, but with slight rubbing to most edges and corners.

GOOD: It is obvious that the book is second hand. However, apart from minor faults, it must always be assumed that the book is complete in all respects, unless otherwise described. May contain a previous owners inscription inside front cover. DUST JACKET: Fairly clean with almost perfect colouring, but suffering from marks, slight creasing and other signs of wear. Most of the edges are rubbed and have small tears.

READING COPY/ACCEPTABLE: Slightly worse than good. Ideal for reading, but would probably not look good on a shelf. Book will be complete, but binding may be loose. DUST JACKET: May be torn with pieces missing.

EX-LIBRARY: Will have usual library markings and stamps, may have front blank page removed.
